I am Richard Querin the Fire Chief for the Wembley Fire Department. I would like to welcome you to our site whether you are a first time visitor or you check in on us regularly. As you make your way through out the site you will learn lots of new things not only about what we do as a Department but things that you can do in your own home to stay fire safe. Plus all Fire Department's up coming events.
This Department was formed in 1950 as a volunteer fire brigade with only a few members and with very little equipment and over the past 60 years it has grown in to the Fire Department that we have today. The Department now consists of over 20 members including medical responders plus we have a Fire Hall full of equipment. We are 100% volunteer operated, so that is extrememly impressive that we maintian such a large membership with how crazy life can be sometimes.
